Conductivity

Electrical Conductivity is a measure of a solution's ability to conduct electricity. Conductivity depends on the concentration of dissolved ions present within a sample, and can give a good approximation of the Total Dissolved Solids content (TDS) and salinity of a sample.
TDS meters generally measure conductivity as uS/cm or mS/cm, and convert the reading into mg/l TDS.
